Our client is seeking an experienced professional to lead infrastructure architecture and delivery team within their Information Technology division. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the strategic roadmap for infrastructure services and ensuring effective and efficient delivery of infrastructure solutions across our enterprise.
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a deep technical understanding of both traditional and cloud-based infrastructure environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the infrastructure architecture framework, principles, and standards.
- Lead the design and delivery of infrastructure solutions that align with business and technology strategies.
- Manage infrastructure delivery projects, ensuring they are executed on time and within budget.
- Act as a subject matter expert for infrastructure services, including cloud, networks, servers, and storage.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, application owners, and business stakeholders to support digital transformation initiatives.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend strategic adoption plans.
- Ensure infrastructure solutions meet security, compliance, and operational best practices.
- Lead vendor selection, negotiations, and performance management.
- Monitor infrastructure performance and drive continuous improvements.
- Mentor and guide team members to support their professional development.
Requirements:
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure and architecture roles.
- At least 5 years in a leadership or management capacity.
- Proven experience with hybrid cloud, data centre management, and network infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure architecture frameworks, methodologies, and tools.
- Excellent project management and team leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Experience in operating in a regulated industry is preferred.
- Relevant professional certifications such as TOGAF, ITIL, or cloud certifications (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) are advantageous.
- Fluency in English; Cantonese or Mandarin language skills are a plus.
