We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst with proven experience in the insurance industry to support our strategic initiatives and drive data-informed decision-making. The successful candidate will play a critical role in analysing business processes, identifying opportunities for optimisation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, document, and analyse business requirements from stakeholders across departments.
- Develop functional specifications and work closely with IT teams to manage solution delivery.
- Identify gaps between current processes and desired outcomes, and propose actionable improvements.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to support strategic planning.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to understand business needs and challenges.
- Create and maintain detailed reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and support training initiatives for new systems and processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of insurance products, claims processing, underwriting, and policy administration.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with business analysis tools and techniques, such as process modelling, gap analysis, and SWOT analysis.
- Experience with data visualisation tools and reporting platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is advantageous.
- Ability to liaise effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
