Our client is seeking skilled and motivated Business Analysts with experience in the Banking and Insurance sector to join their dynamic team in Hong Kong. With multiple openings ranging from Junior to Senior levels, this is a unique opportunity to contribute to transformative projects at the forefront of financial services innovation. Successful candidates will play a key role in analyzing business requirements, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting the implementation of strategic initiatives across various banking and insurance platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and document business processes, functions, and procedures to identify areas for enhancement
- Work closely with stakeholders to elicit, define, and validate business and functional requirements
- Create detailed business analysis, outlining challenges, opportunities, and solutions
- Collaborate with development and testing teams to ensure accurate translation of requirements
- Support project management teams with scope, planning, and monitoring of project deliverables
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to drive engagement and consensus across stakeholders
- Assist with user acceptance testing and post-implementation review
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- 1-10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the Banking or Insurance industry
- Strong knowledge of financial products, operations, and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in tools such as MS Excel, Visio, JIRA, or Confluence
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin a plus
- Certification such as CBAP or PMI-PBA is advantageous
