Credit Risk Manager (Corporate)

A leading financial institution committed to fostering a collaborative and professional environment is seeking a Credit Risk Manager to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex credit assessments within a dynamic organization that values expertise and integrity. The position involves reviewing and approving credit proposals for SMEs and Mid Cap clients, performing risk assessments, and ensuring credit activities align with internal policies and regulatory standards. This is a critical role that supports sound credit decision-making and helps maintain the institution’s risk management standards.

Role Overview:

The Credit Risk Manager (Corporate) is responsible for overseeing credit risk evaluation, ensuring compliance with policies, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate sound credit decisions.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Degree or above in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or related fields
• CFA, CPA, PRMIA-PRM, and GARP-FRM certifications are preferred
• 3-5 years' or more experience in corporate, commercial, or structured credit management in banking or sizable companies
• Knowledge of corporate lending products and regulatory credit management requirements
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and approve SME and Mid Cap credit proposals within delegated authority
• Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for corporate credit applications
• Ensure credit activities conform to internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with internal and external parties on credit approval criteria
• Formulate, review policies and procedures, and prepare reports for management

Requirements:

• Experience in bank or sizable company credit management

• On-site work environment

• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently

Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Assistant Credit Risk Manager position.
