Key Responsibilities:

Experience Analysis & Methodology Alignment: Spearhead the monitoring of emerging financial and demographic trends. Partner with modeling teams to ensure methodologies and assumptions are accurately applied and aligned with approved standards.

Assumption Governance & Impact Assessment: Lead the quarterly assumption review cycle, preparing comprehensive analysis and rationale for proposed changes. Present financial implications to senior committees to support informed decision-making.

IFRS Risk Quantification & Insights: Analyze sensitivity results under IFRS frameworks to assess exposure to critical risk factors. Deliver clear, data-driven insights on financial movements and communicate findings effectively to cross-functional stakeholders.

Multi-Basis Reporting Review: Oversee actuarial reporting across various financial bases, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and relevance for internal and external stakeholders.

Strategic Planning Support: Contribute to the annual planning process by providing reliable actuarial input that supports business strategy formulation and performance target setting.

Audit & Compliance Coordination: Manage interactions with internal and external audit teams, model reviewers, and compliance functions to ensure transparency and adherence to regulatory standards.

Model Governance & Validation: Maintain strong oversight of IFRS model development and validation processes, ensuring models are fit-for-purpose and compliant with governance frameworks.

IFRS 17 Implementation Support: Play a key role in supporting actuarial analytics related to IFRS 17, helping to embed new standards into business-as-usual processes.
