We are seeking a highly experienced Programme Manager to lead and manage strategic initiatives within the Insurance Tech sector. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving digital transformation programmes, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring timely delivery of multiple interdependent projects within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
You will be responsible for overseeing full project lifecycles from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory frameworks. Coordination with cross-functional teams, senior stakeholders, and external vendors is essential, as is the ability to identify and mitigate risks throughout the programme lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end programme delivery, ensuring objectives are met within scope, on time, and on budget
- Define programme roadmap, success metrics, and resource plans
- Facilitate collaboration among project managers, developers, analysts, and business units
- Monitor quality assurance, risk management, and compliance with regulatory standards relevant to the insurance industry
- Provide regular progress updates to executive leadership, highlighting milestones and addressing any issues or deviations
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within programme teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g. PMP, MSP, PgMP) is preferred
- Proven track record of delivering complex technology programmes in a regulated environment
- In-depth understanding of insurance operations, underwriting processes, and digital platforms
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus
- Ability to work independently, think strategically, and lead multifunctional teams across a matrix organisation
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, as well as project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and MS Project
