We are seeking an experienced Programme/Project professional to lead and manage cross-functional initiatives within the insurance sector. Based in Kowloon, Hong Kong, this role plays a pivotal part in delivering strategic programmes and projects that align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the full project life cycle, including scoping, planning, execution, risk management, and reporting. You will coordinate with cross-departmental teams, third-party vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of complex business and IT initiatives. A solid understanding of insurance operations, compliance frameworks, and digital transformation trends is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project scopes, timelines, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Facilitate stakeholder communications and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Lead risk assessment efforts and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and governance frameworks.
- Drive process improvement and change management strategies across programmes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology or related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in programme or project management within the insurance, financial services, or consulting industries.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale business transformation and IT implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of local and international insurance regulations and compliance standards.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum are highly desirable.
- Effective leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
- Fluent in English, with Cantonese or Mandarin considered an advantage.
