Quant Developer
The Quant Developer owns the core systems powering quantitative research and live trading, delivering low-latency, fault-tolerant and massively parallel services. The company’s platform supports billions of computations across machines around the globe, turning ideas into production systems that make real-time decisions at scale.
Role Overview
Working across the research and trading platform, the role covers the full lifecycle of technical systems, from infrastructure and hardware optimisation through to production operations. Success means delivering deterministic, reproducible and resilient services that sustain peak performance under real market load.
Key Skills & Experience
- C++ development experience
- Experience designing and operating ultra-low-latency, high-throughput services
- Experience managing heterogeneous CPU, GPU and FPGA compute fleets across regions
- Experience optimising systems from the network through to the kernel
- Experience translating research into production systems with rigorous SLAs and SLOs
- Experience building high-fidelity benchmarks and traces
- Experience working with automated performance gates and latency budgets
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and operate ultra-low-latency, high-throughput services supporting quantitative research and live trading
- Automate provisioning and deployments
- Manage heterogeneous compute fleets across regions
- Optimise infrastructure from the network through to the kernel
- Translate research into production systems with deterministic behaviour, reproducible simulations and production-ready resilience
- Define hard latency budgets and enforce them with automated gates
- Build high-fidelity benchmarks and traces
- Sustain peak performance under real market load
