The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high-value clients, building and nurturing long-term relationships, and delivering tailored investment and wealth management strategies. This involves conducting comprehensive financial reviews, identifying client needs and goals, and aligning strategic banking and investment products accordingly. The Relationship Manager will collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery and act as a trusted advisor by staying current on market trends, investment opportunities, and regulatory developments. A key part of this role is to proactively identify cross-selling opportunities and promote a full spectrum of banking services to deepen client relationships and maximise satisfaction and loyalty.
To be successful in this role, candidates should have a minimum of two years’ experience in direct sales of Investments or Insurance, with a proven ability to manage and grow relationships within the premier client segment. Applicants must demonstrate strong knowledge of retail banking products, investment strategies, asset allocation, and portfolio diversification. Familiarity with financial market dynamics and regulatory environments is essential. A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a results-driven approach are crucial. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to establish rapport and gain trust with discerning clients.
Qualifications ideally include a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. Professional certifications in investments or insurance will be considered advantageous. Knowledge of risk assessment and compliance practices is preferred.
