We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Treasury Assistant Director based in Hong Kong. This role is instrumental in managing daily treasury operations, ensuring optimal liquidity, and supporting strategic business initiatives across the organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing cash management, intercompany funding, foreign exchange risk management, and banking relationships. You will also support treasury planning activities and contribute to the development and implementation of treasury policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related disciplines, supported by relevant professional qualifications such as CPA, CFA or ACT. A minimum of 8 years of treasury or finance-related experience within a corporate or banking environment is required. Proven experience in working in a fast-paced, multinational environment will be considered highly advantageous. In addition, strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with a sound understanding of financial markets and instruments.
You should be adept at managing complex financial modelling and forecasting, with the ability to evaluate and manage risks effectively. Proficiency in treasury management systems and advanced Excel skills are essential. Candidates must be comfortable working with large datasets and should exhibit a keen attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Experience in leading treasury transformation projects and implementing process improvements will be highly regarded.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are critical for this role, as you will collaborate with senior management, external stakeholders, and cross-functional teams globally. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin would be an added advantage. You must demonstrate the ability to influence decision-making processes and build close working relationships with both internal and external partners.
