Our client is a well-established securities brokerage. They are currently looking for a VP to join their Middle Office team. The ideal candidate should have 8+ years of experience in trade support, ideally with experience in multiple asset classes and is familiar with trade processing.
Job Description:
- Oversee the trade lifecycle across a range of financial products, including Equities, Fixed Income, derivatives etc
- Precise and prompt trade capturing, allocation, settlement, and regulatory reporting (such as HKTR).
- Daily reconciliations of cash, trades, and positions with prime brokers, custodians, and counterparties.
- Tackling any trade discrepancies and settlement challenges.
- Manage the daily operational tasks of the team and act as a key point of escalation for resolving high-risk exceptions on a regular basis.
- Keep track of and mitigate operational risks associated with trading activities
- Perform data analysis to support decision-making and recognize trends in trading and operational activities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards and internal policies regarding middle office operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years in a middle office role within a financial services organization.
- Excellent understanding in financial products processing
- Solid understanding of Middle Office Functions and Financial Products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and Mandarin.
