The partners come from prestigious backgrounds, having had successful careers in top-tier trading firms. They are looking for a senior technical expert to be part of this exciting journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full software development lifecycle for C++ trading systems and financial applications.
- Oversee and maintain existing codebases, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Identify technical risks and drive continuous improvements in code quality and development processes.
- Guide architectural decisions.
- Collaborate closely with quantitative analysts and traders to deliver competitive solutions.
- Become a long-term member of the company to help shape its future.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in C++ development within a financial environment, preferably in front-office trading or high-frequency systems.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and mentor a team of software engineers.
- Strong understanding of multithreading, concurrency, networking protocols (TCP/UDP), and low-level system programming.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python or Bash) for automation and tooling.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to operate under pressure.
- Familiarity with market data feeds, order management systems, and exchange protocols is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Fluent in English.
