Role Overview:
The Senior Project Manager - Team Leader is responsible for leading the execution of automotive projects from initiation through completion. This position involves managing resources, coordinating cross-functional teams, controlling costs, and ensuring projects meet their milestones within scope and budget. The role provides vital support to business development activities and acts as a key liaison to ensure smooth communication between teams and clients, supporting the organization’s strategic objectives.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in product development related discipline (e.g., Engineering)
• Over 10 years of work experience in Project Management
• Proven track record in team management
• Strong leadership and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a matrix environment
• Analytical and result-oriented mindset
• Understanding of different cultures and ability to work with regional teams
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Professional proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Project
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for project execution, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives
• Allocate people resources and workload, providing necessary training and ensuring proper staffing
• Lead a global cross-functional team including engineering, project planning, process engineering, launch, and quality teams
• Conduct cost analysis, control, and optimization for your product
• Support business development and sales teams with commercial issues
• Act as liaison for internal and external customers
• Collaborate with process, quality, and design teams on product and process development
• Report project milestones, monitor progress, and assess risks throughout all project phases

Candidates with automotive product experience, especially in seat applications, PMP certification, or overseas working experience, will have an added advantage.
