Our client, a highly respected Chinese securities institution with a strong presence in Hong Kong, is expanding its investment team. We are seeking a talented professional to join them as a Investment Consultant. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about portfolio construction and global allocation strategies.

Location: Wanchai, Hong Kong
Salary: HKD 40,000 – 80,000 per month (depending on experience)

 

Ideal Candidates

  • A Master’s degree is a must.
  • Professionals currently working as Product Managers within multi‑asset management who wish to transition into a more investment‑focused role are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Individuals who enjoy client engagement and want broader exposure to global portfolios and strategic allocation work.


Responsibilities

  • Develop tailored global multi‑asset portfolio solutions for clients, including asset‑mix recommendations, risk calibration, and performance assessments.
  • Build, review, and refine global mandate strategies by integrating macroeconomic insights and evolving market conditions.
  • Maintain and deepen relationships with HNW and institutional clients through portfolio discussions, risk education, and understanding investment objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with product and investment research teams to ensure portfolio advice aligns with available products and investment views.

Requirements
  • Master’s degree or above in finance, economics, investment management, or related disciplines (candidates from well‑recognized universities preferred; 985/211 a plus).
  • Professional designations such as CFA, FRM, or CPA are highly advantageous.
  • At least five years of hands‑on experience in global asset allocation or advisory roles, with solid understanding of cross‑regional markets (US, Europe, Asia‑Pacific) and various asset classes including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and alternatives.
  • Familiarity with asset allocation frameworks (e.g., Black‑Litterman) and risk assessment tools.
  • Strong client‑facing skills with the ability to design customized investment solutions.
  • Proficient written Chinese and fluent Mandarin communication skills required.
