We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Project Manager with proven experience in the insurance industry to join our team based in Hong Kong. This role requires a proactive individual capable of managing multiple tasks and stakeholders while maintaining high standards and achieving project goals. The successful candidate will play a key role in tracking financial expenditures, recording meeting minutes, organising and leading meetings, and providing clear and timely project updates to various teams and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management methodologies and a good understanding of insurance terminology and processes. You will be responsible for tracking budgets and spendings against forecasts, maintaining documentation, managing timelines, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring deliverables are met within scope and deadlines. Your ability to follow through on tasks, maintain structured project governance, and deliver transparent and regular communications will be essential in this role.
The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team. Proficiency in standard project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA or similar workflow systems, and report presentation tools is expected. Familiarity with insurance products and operational frameworks is required to ensure effective stakeholder management and risk assessment.
A degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Insurance, or a related field is preferred. A recognised project management certification such as PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile methodologies would be advantageous. A minimum of 3 years of project management experience, ideally within the insurance sector or a financial services environment, is strongly preferred.
