Quant Developer - Central Liquidity Strategies
The Quant Developer joins a team focused on developing high-performance quantitative models within the Central Liquidity Strategies unit. This team handles analysis, optimisation, routing, and internalisation for a significant portion of the order flow, working closely with industry leaders in challenging markets.

Role Overview
The Quant Developer will be responsible for developing diverse applications with primary languages including q/kdb+ and Python. The role involves designing and optimising computationally intensive models that process large streaming data, collaborating with researchers and traders, and delivering stand-alone and integrated applications. Success in this position requires effective communication of ideas and seamless teamwork across related functions.
Key Skills & Experience
- Develop across a wide breadth of applications using q/kdb+ and Python
- Design and optimise large-scale, computationally intensive quantitative models
- Collaborate with researchers and traders to meet project specifications
- Communicate ideas, questions, and conclusions effectively
- Work with related teams on API requirements and software integration
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with databases, especially q/kdb+
- Experience with equity electronic trading, markets, and systems
- Unix proficiency
- Knowledge of financial modelling, statistics, mathematics, or physics

Requirements
- Right to work in Asia
- Bachelor degree or higher
- Located on-site in Hong Kong
- 2 to 10 years of experience in financial institutions or related development-intensive roles
